Just bought the place and ready to work!
First step after doing the floors was taming the flowerbeds...
Looks nice from the street, but the brick mortar crumbled and bricks falling off all over house.
So, off come the bricks. They're just a decorative facade, not structural.
Cleaned up, and note the white corner board on the right which will go on the rest of the house.
Starting the siding (primed white). We just continued the cedar siding the rest of the way down.
And more siding. Metal flashing at bottom protects the sill on foundation left by bricks.
Primed and ready to paint...
Painted and new drainspouts. But the dormer up top still needs to be resided and to get corner boards.
Meanwhile, new front door put in. Sure beats the scanky old green one. Trim painting still pending...
New flowerbeds cut and planted. Troubled dormer to be fixed next.
